DAY 5, July 13, 2012: Long Creek to Kimberly
Leaving Long Creek early in the morning, our last day on the road
A few more climbs...
...then a long descent into Monument
....back down to the valley and the North Fork of the John Day again

It was not long before we were back at our starting point, Big Bend BLM Campground on the N. Fork of the John Day. We had left our car and small Airstream "Bambi" trailer there at the start of our tour, paying for our site for the days we would be gone. We were relieved to find it still there as we had left it. After grabbing a cold beer from the refrigerator in the trailer, we joined the bike club down the road in Spray for the evening. The club would conclude their tour in Mitchell the next day, but for us, this was the end of a very special bike tour.
